    Hatha yoga is known as the sun and moon yoga.  It is a gentler and slower form of yoga.  It is great for beginners and can help to create the ability to build a stronger foundation.

    Hatha is a general category that includes most yoga styles.  It is an old system that includes the practice of yoga postures and yoga breathing exercises (asana & pranayama) which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation.
